N2S Israel Bike Ride - Simon Brown
The Hubnuts cyclists along with friends joining from all over England are cycling the length of Israel from the very top at Kiryat Shmona to Eilat at the bottom. That's over 500km in very high temperatures whilst all the time avoiding the Israeli drivers !
We are riding to raise much needed funds for the UJIA supported Carmiel Children’s Village, home to over 200 orphaned and needy children. The ride will also support A Smile for Orly, a Manchester based charity in memory of Orly Feddy z”l which provides services and support to local children’s activities across the region
Both of these charities rely on voluntary contribution and all of the riders will be paying entirely for the trip themselves. Every penny I can raise goes directly to these 2 wonderful causes.
My target is to raise £5000. I am doing the all the hard work, training everyday whilst abstaining from my favorite whisky, chocolate and other sugary goodies. All you have to do is donate some of your hard earned cash. Anything you can give will help tremendously and also spur me on to train even harder for these wonderful Charities.
