Middle aged miles...
Stuck in denial about my age and physical condition, despite moving up yet another socio-economic category; a used to be friend of mine signed me up to do this crazy bike ride.
So I am cycling 700km in 5 days in 85 plus degree heat!!!
I am paying for it all myself but at the heart of it is a charity ride so please help however small - it all counts. This demanding ride is in aid of the UJIA supported Carmiel Children’s Village, home to over 200 children orphaned or court ordered to leave their families and will also be used to refurbish one of the family homes. The ride will also support A Smile for Orly providing services and support to children’s charities in Manchester.
Whatever you guys pledge here my company Athito will match it and donate to our sponsored charity CLIC Sargent, a children's charity supporting families with terminally ill children. They do incredible work and we are delighted to have supported them for the past four years.
So anything you can contribute, however small, will be greatly appreciated and used to make a real difference.
