Israel North2South - Andrew Joseph
I am taking part in a fund raising cycle ride over the full length of Israel from Kiryat Shmona, in the far north, to Eilat, in the deep south. That's over 500km in 5 days in sauna like temperatures.
All the riders in this event are hoping to raise much needed funds for the UJIA supported Carmiel Children’s Village, home to orphaned and needy children - www.ujia.org/project/carmiel-childrens-village . The ride will also support A Smile for Orly, a Manchester based charity set up in loving memory of Orly Feddy which provides services and support to local children’s activities.
All of the riders will be paying entirely for the trip themselves. Every penny I can raise goes directly to these two wonderful causes.
My target is to raise £5000. I am working hard, training well outside of my comfort zone whilst eating extra cake and biscuits to compensate! Please can you consider doing your part by donating some of your hard earned cash. Anything you can give will help go to support both of the charities.
