Daniel does N2S
I've decided to take part in one of my most challenging bike rides to date, which will involve cycling the length of Israel from Kyriat Shmona to Eilat. I'll be covering the 700km ride in 5 days along with 50 other people.
Although it will be nice to have a change of scenery I imagine that the searing Israeli heat will give me some very crisp tan lines by the end of it. Also I'm sure it will provide me with some very sore legs by the end of it.
We are riding to raise much needed funds for the UJIA supported Carmiel Children’s Village, home to over 200 children orphaned or court ordered to leave their families. We will be refurbishing one of the family homes in memory of Darren Walshaw. The ride will also support A Smile for Orly, a Manchester based charity in memory of Orly Feddy which provides services and support to local children’s activities.
